The Student Council Elections of Kamala Nehru College for the year 2022 was conducted on April 08, 2022. After a two-week long process of submission of nominations and election campaigning, the voting was held online through google forms. The counting of votes, led by the Proctors’ team and the Student Advisors, was held on April 11th and 12th. It was a lengthy process as the first step was to verify the legitimacy of received votes. Freshers'23
On 19th October 2023, Students' Council, Kamala Nehru College hosted "Freshers' 23," beginning at 11:00 AM in the auditorium. The highlights of the occasion included Halloween-themed decorations, costume contests, interactive games, and cultural performances.The Principal of the college (officiating), Prof. Kalpana Bhakuni, gave a welcome address to the new students. The event effectively created a lively and welcoming atmosphere, aiding new students in their transition into the college community.
Winter Carnival'24
On 23rd February 2024, the council organised Winter Carnival '24 for KNC students. The event featured the Best Dressed and Know-it-All title awards and included live performances. It created a vibrant and festive atmosphere, blending competitive and entertainment elements.
Voting Awareness Event
A slogan writing competition on the theme 'MERA PEHLA VOTE DESH KE LIYE' was organised on 13th March, 2024 to spread voting awareness amongst first-time voters.
Ullas'24
The college cultural fest, Ullas'24, was organised on 18th and 19th March by the council. The fest featured a variety of cultural activities. Principal Prof. Kalpana Bhakuni addressed students, and Ms. Sharanya Chandran, a renowned Bharatanatyam exponent, was the guest of honour. The event provided a vibrant platform for student engagement and cultural celebration.
Farewell'24
On 7th May 2024, the council hosted a farewell for the Batch of 2024. Held in the college auditorium, the event featured an ethnic theme, and the departing students were bid farewell with a range of activities and tributes.
