Apart from inculcating intellectual rigour, the college is a melting pot of cultures, arts, ideas, and talents. It boasts of numerous societies and clubs, which are vibrant, active groups constantly evolving, and encouraging students to express themselves, hone their talents and participate in University events. The College has several societies under which both faculty and students are sensitized towards empowerment, inclusion, and environment protection. Societies such as Green Beans, Consumer Club, Women's Development Cell, Shinning Network Society, Equal Opportunity Cell and Enabling Unit, and Gandhi Study Circle work to instil value- awareness and a sense of social responsibility and community orientation. There are various other performing arts societies that students can choose to be a part of according to their diverse interests. Each society organizes its own orientation programme for generating awareness and encouraging student participation in their respective activities. Societies hold regular events where intra and inter college competitions are organized, including the highlight of the year—the Annual Event of each society. Students are actively involved in organizing and participating in such events. Some societies also publish their annual newsletters/magazines. To co-ordinate these activities, there are faculty conveners, student conveners, and student members in each society.
